Greeting to everyone reading this article on behalf of the TEDxSairam - 14 team. One might wonder what is this all about ? Brace yourself, because you are about to witness series of articles from today, until the day of the event.

The Primordial idea behind this blog is to make the readers understand what it takes for an individual to work in a team and if you are a team leader, better know how to value your team mates suggestions like the one this team has ;).

Adam & Evil

is a band formed by Jesh Moorjani 

(Baseless/kick ass-teroids) and 

Kausthub ravi after jamming with 

several other drummers and bass 

guitarists with their one hit 

composition called - turn around its a 

robot ..they finally found something 

right when the dashing wonder sankar 

narayanan banged his way into the 

hearts of both of them - In a short 

span the band managed to have a lot 

of achievements such as, 1st place at WCC Festeve 

culturals - 2013 2ND place at IIT Culturals Saarang madras 

with best guitarist and many more.

Dr.Sumanth C Raman

Dr.Sumanth C Raman is a 

popular Tamil television 

anchor, sports commentator. 

He is the host of BSNL Sports 

Quiz on Doordarshan's 

Podhigai TV channel. Dr 

Raman holds a Diploma in 

Child Health and an MD in 

General Medicine. He also 

holds a Diploma in Computer 

Applications. He currently 

works with one of India’s biggest IT companies in the 

Healthcare vertical. He is also a consultant in General 

Medicine at a leading hospital in Chennai.

Kalki Subramanian

Kalki Subramanian Is a 

transgender rights activist, 

writer, activist. She holds 

two master degrees, one in 

Journalism and the second 

in international relations. 

She is India’s first 

transgender social 

entrepreneur. She has won 

many awards for her social 

works.

Dr. K.K.Prahalathan

Dr. K.K.Prahalathan is an 

Opthamologist in a leading eye 

care hospital and cofounder of 

BHUMI. Bhumi is involved in 

supplementary education for 

under-privileged children in 

Tamil nadu, Karnataka, 

Maharashtra, New Delhi and 

other parts of the country.

Sikkil Gurucharan

Sikkil Gurucharan is among 

the foremost young 

performing musicians of 

Carnatic musicians in India 

today. He is the grandson of 

Sikkil Kunjumani, elder of 

the internationally

Bhargav Narasimhan

Bhargav Narasimhan is an 

Indian Rubik's Cube speed 

solver. He was born and 

raised in Chennai. He studied

in srimathi sundaravalli 

memorial school till 12th. 

He currently holds the Asian 

record for solving a 3x3 

Cube One handed in 9.52 

seconds. He also holds 

national records for 2x2 

cube, 3x3 one handed and megaminx. He is the first Indian 

to make it to world top 100 in each of these events.

Meena Kandasamy

Meena Kandasamy is an Indian

poet, fiction writer, 

translator and activist who is 

based in Chennai, Tamil 

Nadu, India. Most of her 

works are centered around 

feminism and the anti-caste 

Caste Annihilation Movement 

of the contemporary Indian 

milieu.

Dr. Manoj Beno

Dr.Manoj Beno is the

Medical Director of Billroth 

Group of Hospitals since the 

young age of 30 till date. He 

was earlier running the 

Intensive Cardiac Care 

department in Malar 

Hospitals besides being a 

practising physician. He 

studied in Sri Ramachandra 

Medical College.He has been the physician in Chennai for 

the international cricket teams for 4 years.

Yugi Sethu

Yugi Sethu is an actor, 

screenplay writer, academician, 

a critic, art historian, and is 

engaged in restoration and 

preservation of Tamil and other 

south Indian Vintage movies. He 

is now involved in ground work 

for spawning Independent 

movies in India.

TEDxSAIRAM

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
